DJ Lin, the founder of LatinGroove and also the Dj. She has done a great job promoting Salsa in Shanghai by organizing weekly event at Zapata's, Mint Club, South Beauty 881, Freelance, Level2, Air Lounge Signal Tower and Rojam. Special events such as Dragon Club,No.5 and Moca.
Her music style is manifold, from Cuba , to Columbia and Africa, Latin Jazz, Mambo, also Miami and Los Angel style, including some special mix, like mixing Cuban Salsa with Reggaeton, Zouk and Cumbia, mixing Merengue, soca with Bachata and Cha Cha Cha.
Dj Lin is also expert in spinning Latin Afro House, Belly Dance House. Dj Lin used to play Latin Afro House, Brazilian House, Arabian House, Soca, Jazz House and Bossa Nova & Nu Bossa in Barbarossa Lounge, to promote Latin Afro music among the electronic music crowd.
Dj Lin's supreme desire is to promote world music become the mainstream gradually in the big chinese crowd.

Mario Bauzá--Tanga

Mario Bauzá & His Afro-Cuban Jazz Orchestra is an amazing Latin jazz big band. In this album, some of the tracks are for listening, but some can most certainly are for dancing! Also, some songs are full of drama, which is good for stage performances; such as Cuban Lullaby and Rumba abierta . Great for dancing are the songs Azuelito and Ganga; which are electrofying. Son cubano and Chucho are very good Cha-cha-chá tracks. My favorite on this CD is Mambo rincón , it is latin jazz with a very lively rhythm.

Frankie Ruiz-- Oro Salsero: 20 Exitos

This cd is not quite new, as I bought it in the second hand CD shop. But, all the songs are great for dancing, with a very clean rhythm, beautiful melody and Frankie Ruiz's nice voice, mellow sweet and relaxing.

Gloria Estefan -- 90 Millas

Gloria Estefan's latest CD, 90 Millas, has powerful latin passion with modern style and many different Latin music genres, not only salsa. This CD is more about passion; which I greatly appreciate. So, for me, the genre does not matter. My favourite song is Morenita which has an Afro-Latin soul feelin to it. It probably won't be the favorite of most salseros , but it really moves me!
